Mike Baggetta

Guitar & iBand

One of my earliest memories is of sitting on the couch of the family room in the house I grew up in and watching my father play his shiny, beautiful, electric guitar.  I don't quite remember what he was playing, but I definitely remember watching him play.  What I would later learn was a 1974 Gibson Les Paul Custom caught my early attention as something with which I knew I wanted to be involved.  Being lucky enough to take my first music and guitar lessons from my dad was an experience that brought me much closer to him, especially since I have taken music on as my career.  Every time I pick up my instrument to play a concert, or just around the house, I feel a part of my family lineage there with me.

Although I have been lucky enough to travel the world playing music with great artists, the inspiration that I received throughout my early years from my father was very important to my progress.  Having a fun and patient teacher who listens to you, the student, and supplies you with the knowledge and skills you need, while showing you how to use them in the context you want, is invaluable for any one who wants to learn an instrument.  I have learned that lesson, and I welcome the opportunity to teach it to you!
