BAND PROGRAMS: Ensemble plus lesson
iBand© ...An inspirational mixture
Ages: 7-18 (students are placed according to age/experience)
Prerequisite: B'Ginnings or 6 month's experience
The core of our music program, iBand is an innovative program of music instruction that emphasizes performing in a band. This program includes private lessons with an hour long ensemble that finishes with a New York City performance.
iBand is an ideal program for developing music skills and putting them to fun and practical use. All music is custom arranged to suit a variety of musical levels. Students are grouped by age, ability and musical style of interest.

B'Ginnings© ... Music made fun for beginners
No experience necessary
Ages: 6-9
B'Ginnings is a unique program of beginning music instruction that combines a 30 minute private lesson with a 30 minute small group of hands-on learning and application. Students perform together as a band at our final performance in New York City.
This program is for anyone who would like to make learning the fundamentals of music fun. Kids start out playing percussion and move to their primary instruments after about a month. Students are grouped according to age.

Drummers ONLY! ... Drum & percussion ensemble
Prerequisite: 6 months experience
Ages: 8 and up
A great time for anyone who loves drums! This ensemble puts fun with rhythm first and shows students how real music can be made with non-pitched instruments. Class meets an hour per week and also includes a 30 minute private lesson.
Pre-iSchool
ABC's of Music ... Discovering sound
Ages: 3-5
This class is designed to be a fun and interesting first musical experience for young children. Students are introduced to many musical instruments, styles and interesting facts about sound and music.
Class meets once per week for 45 minutes and includes listening to a wide range of music, sound exploration, musical game playing and hands on rhythm learning with drums.

Keyboard Cafe ... Family music making
No experience necessary
Ages: Adult
Keyboard Cafe gives parents the opportunity to make their child's home practice more productive and fun by learning the basics of keyboard in a relaxed and casual atmosphere with other parents.
Learn how to help your child pracetice and enjoy playing duets together making practice time family time. The "Cafe Band" meets an hour per week and performs with their children at iSchool recitals. Bring your coffee or tea to class, it's that casual!
Little Voices ... Children's choir
Ages: 6-9
Little Voices introduces children to a variety of popular and broadway songs by meeting an hour per week. Singing skills, teamwork and stage presence are just some of the basics covered in our children's choir.
Private Lessons

Soloist ... The joy of personalized lessons
Ages: 4-adult
Our Soloist program offers highly individualized private lessons for all ages and skill levels. This program can be used to concentrate on audition material (NYSSMA) for junior high, high school and college or for the adult who is interested in learning an instrument.
Music theory is also incorporated into our Solosist program. The Soloist can be either 30, 45 or 60 minutes.
